Stibnite + Calcite on Black Druzy Quartz

This was acquired from the Nong Hin district of Thailand, and is considered a rare piece. This crystal exudes luxury and is adorned with calcite sheets from the top to bottom.

Stibnite occurs in underground accumulation and has been associated with  realgar, orpiment, cinnabar, galena, pyrite, marcasite, arsenopyrite, cervantite, stibiconite, calcite, ankerite, barite, and chalcedony. While fractional stibnite accumulation is common, large accumulations are rare.

Stibnite, also known as Antimonite, is a mass-fermented sulphide mineral, but it is the most well-known. When found in semi-rare long prism stick fossil structures, these long tubular fossils can be seen from a few inches to a few feet.
