Michelle is not only an incredible teacher, but a truly beautiful human being. She's patient, encouraging, and has a gift for knowing exactly when to gently guide and when to let us explore and grow on our own. Her studio is a peaceful sanctuary, and I’m so grateful for the grace, love, and steady encouragement she offers. I’ll definitely be finding my way back soon. ❤️

I had so much fun at Michelle’s wheel throwing class. We got a short tour of their homestead and then got right into hands on learning. It was informative, intimate and so very sweet. I wanted to keep playing with the clay and wheel all day. Highly recommend any of Michelle’s classes. She’s a patient and intuitive teacher, offers guidance and support but also lets you learn as you go. Mahalo Michelle!

Michelle was such a patient and encouraging instructor! This was my first time taking a pottery class, and it truly exceeded my expectations. The intimate setting allowed each of us to get hands-on help when needed, and Michelle was so fun and easy to talk story with. I'm really looking forward to coming back for her 5-week program in the future. Thank you, Michelle, for creating such a beautiful space to learn and grow.

What a great class! Michelle is a direct and patient teacher as well as a gracious host! Her studio is nestled in the east side mountains of Wailua on a glorious homestead with sweet smelling flowers and delicious tea. I was completely new to wheel throwing and Michelle patiently walked me through each step as many times as I needed, offered support and helped me create 2 beautiful pieces to add to my home. 10/10 would recommend this class to anyone wanting to learn! Michelle is a kind and passionate artist. It was such a joy to participate in her wheel throwing class. Working with clay is so relaxing and meditative. Her instructions were very clear and gentle and the environment was very comfortable and welcoming. So glad that her homestead was my first experience with pottery and hope to visit again in the near future.

The kimono is both beautiful and functional for me. It’s great for slipping on over my swimsuit on pool days and I have gotten a ton of compliments every time I’ve worn it. As a bonus, I am much bigger than the model in the photo (about 6 inches taller and a size xl/xxl) and it fits me perfectly while still giving that flowy, oversized aesthetic. My friend also tried it on (size xs/s and 2in shorter than the model in the photo) and it looked beautiful on her as well. It’s like the sisterhood of the traveling kimono- it really seems to fit and look amazing on anyone. If you’re reading this review and on the fence about any of the other “one size fits all” items on the site, I say go for it! I bet there’s a strong likelihood it will fit and look great!

I LOVE these vases. They look beautiful in our home and are the perfect spot for me to put all of the single flowers that the kids I nanny give me every day. Puts a smile on my face every time I see them!

Me & my friends felt very welcomed by Michelle. Our experience on her homestead, in her ceramic studio, was the perfect get away from the business of life. We thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon—learning new teqniques from someone who has much knowledge!

This slab building class was so fun and I had such a great time! Michelle was patient and encouraging, and the hands-on approach made it easy to learn. The space was welcoming, and I left feeling inspired and proud of what I made. Highly recommend it to anyone curious about working with clay!

My friends and I had a great time!! My friend met Michelle at a market and we took her class a few weeks later. She showed us her beautiful property and gave us home made tea. We had different levels of experience and she was able to cater to our different needs. She taught me a lot even though I had prior experience and she was really helpful to my friends who were beginners! I really enjoyed the studio space because it felt outdoorsy and tropical. She really has a depth of knowledge about ceramics and has so many tips and tricks! Anyways we had a great time and would definitely recommend anyone looking for a ceramics/homesteading experience! :)
