Our Yerba Mate Blend
Our homegrown, spray and pesticide-free yerba maté is organically grown, and blended with aromatic lemongrass and spicy galangal for a revitalizing infusion. Yerba maté, derived from the dried leaves and stems of a South American rainforest holly, has long been cherished as a cultural staple and energizing tonic. The earthy richness of yerba mate forms a robust foundation, while lemongrass adds a bright, citrusy uplift. Galangal, a close cousin to ginger, imparts a warm, peppery spice with subtle floral notes, creating a dynamic and energizing brew.
A tea rooted in tradition, yerba maté is often shared among close friends and family using the same straw, or bombilla—a sign of trust and connection. With over 196 active compounds, yerba maté surpasses even green tea in antioxidants and beneficial properties. Aroma and Flavor

Brewing Suggestions
Traditional
To maintain the integrity of the tea and prevent bitterness, avoid pouring boiling water over the leaves. Instead, use water heated to 160-180°F. Yerba maté brews more slowly than conventional tea, allowing for multiple infusions with evolving flavors.
For traditional preparation, place the loose leaves into a maté gourd and moisten with a splash of cold water. Once absorbed, add warm water to steep the first and strongest cup. Refill with warm or cold water for subsequent brews, enjoying the naturally sweetening profile with each infusion.
Conventional
Place 1 tablespoon of tea in a cloth tea bag or mesh basket and steep in 8 ounces of hot water (not boiling) for 3-5 minutes, adjusting for desired strength.
French Press
For a larger batch, use 1 tablespoon of yerba maté blend per 12 ounces of water. Dampen the leaves with cool or lukewarm water for a few minutes before adding warm water. Allow the leaves to float without stirring to prevent clogging the press. Re-steep multiple times for a layered tasting experience.
